Clipper Decaf Tea... A toned-down tea to treasure!

I thought I'd kick off the blog with a review of my absolute favouritest decaffeinated tea. While I love a buzzing brew of the good stuff with all my heart, when you feel the jitters might set in if you down another builder's brew, decaf can be a useful standby... At least until your leg stops twitching!

But seriously!

Recently being pregnant, and long-term breastfeeding now, I've got quite hooked on the decaf varieties as research suggests this can be better for your wee bean. But I wanted to find one that was decaffeinated naturally, and that is where Clipper Organic Decaf swooped in to the rescue like a high-flying teabag with a superhero cape! This tea-riffic everyday tea is organically decaffeinated and comes in lovely unbleached bags.

Another bonus is the box... absolutely gorgeously illustrated and designed with what looks like beautiful hand-rendered typography. The colours of the boxes are so pretty and earthy too. The whole package feels natural and delicious, definitely one to flaunt on forest picnics.

The flavour is absolutely amazing... full-bodied and robust, definitely the best decaf I have had the pleasure of guzzling. I find it is the most delicious brewed for a few minutes, then with a splash of whole milk added.

I don't think you can beat this badboy for a decaf beaut. The perfect tea for Mammas-to-be, or anyone who's feeling a bit owl-eyed and wanting something with a bit less zing.

Grab a cuppa, hoist over a cosy chair...

... And get those toes cosy with A Kettle of Honeycomb!

In this blog I, your teacup-wielding host Pippa, will be bringing you tales of tea-tastings, hooting like a caffeine-fuelled wise owl about ye olde tea lore, and sharing my favourite recipes for healthy, delicious kitchen conjurings, with a slight bias towards tea-time sweet treats...

So without further ado, may your tastebuds twinkle and your teacups always steam!... I present to you, A Kettle of Honeycomb!
